The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Godwin Oshodin, who disclosed this to journalists in Benin, said that out of a total of 19,472 graduands from the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic sessions, 16,076 would bag first degrees while 130 would be awarded with doctorate degrees.
The award of certificates, diplomas and first degrees, which would hold on November 20, would be proceeded by a convocation lecture to be delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of Lancaster University, Professor Mark Smith.
Professor Oshodin said that nine recently completed projects, including the university bookshop and a 500-capacity lecture theatre for the faculty of management sciences, would be commissioned during the week of the ceremonies.
