There has been another allegation of
ragging from the Scindia School in Gwalior. The parent of a Class 8 student
from Bareilly has alleged that he withdrew his son from the school due to
ragging.
The parent in an email has alleged
that his son was mentally tortured in the school and even forcibly made to
watch porn.
Reacting to this allegation, Scindia
School Principal Samik Ghosh said, "We are talking with the higher
management, at this stage we will not be able to comment on this issue."
Madhya Pradesh Education Minister
Deepka Joshi has said that the government will ensure that such an incident is
not repeated. "This is a very serious offence. We will take required
precautionary measures," Joshi said.
Earlier this week, three students
from the school were expelled on charges of ragging a Bihar minister's son, a
Class 9 student from the Scindia School. He is in the ICU and in a critical
condition.
The House Master and Assistant
Master, accused of negligence, have been arrested in the case.
