HIJACKED SCHOOL BUS IN ABUJA: Parents Remove Kids From School In Fear Of Another Attack In Nyanya

As it was just reported, both Abbe Maria School and Vine Kiddies Academy confirmed that the rumors regarding several gunman hijacking a school bus on Tuesday morning, in Nyanya Is FAKE.

Local citizens however still insist that kids were kidnapped.

UPDATE: NSCDC confirms the incident, saying that an empty bus was seized by armed men as what is believed as an armed robbery. The bus belonged to the Vine Kiddies Academy. This information has been confirmed by Evans Ewurum, the deputy commandant general of NSCDC, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Nigeria Police Force explained the incident on its Facebook page saying that the bus was hijacked earlier today when the bus driver was cleaning it just by the school gates. The police is reportedly looking for both the vehicle and the hijackers.

The bus was supposedly hijacked when it was just going to drop off students at the school premises in the beginning of a school day.
