Nigeria will play an international friendly on against the Black Stars on Friday to commemorate the official opening of the ultra modern Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.
Twenty four homebased players were called by coach Stephen Keshi for the game, and all the players have reported to camp from their respective Nigerian clubs.
"Of course, we can't lose to the Ghanaians in the friendly encounter specifically meant to officially signal the opening of the Akwa Ibom Stadium," Afelokhai told Supersports.com
"We won't want our names to go down into history books as the side that failed to win the Ghanaian side on such auspicious occasion.
"We've quality players in our midst who are match winners any day and who will certainly deliver the goods on match day.
"I think we've the best of the goalkeepers who can always maintain clean sheet in the encounter.
"I myself is bringing in an aura of champions stuff to the team aimed at repeating what Kano Pillars have just done in the domestic league.
"I've always seen myself as a match winner, I never feel comfortable with defeat and that will be the approach we'll bring into the duel against Ghana.
"Though it's a friendly challenge but our watchword is that Ghana must fall completely, we want to win to prepare a victory dance for the Super Eagles when they later host on same venue the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the last group game of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches," he said.
