Nigeria played a barren draw with host, Bafana Bafana in Cape Town on Wednesday night, with the West Africans having one point from two games and looking unsure like the team that lifted the Nations Cup last year.
The result, coupled with their shock 3-2 defeat against Congo on Saturday, has left Nigeria in third place in the Afcon qualifying standings, but Keshi preferred to look at the positives after the match.
“The game was not bad,” he said. “I thought it was good tactical play and good play by Bafana. [I saw] a bit of improvement from my players … a lot better than what we did on Saturday.
"We have not been together and it’s taking time to gel. I’m not satisfied, but I liked what I saw.” The Eagles next travel to Sudan, where three points will be non-negotiable kickoff
