High-performance supercars are pouring into west
London as wealthy Qataris, Saudis and Emiratis move to the capital during the
Middle East's baking summer months and bring their luxury vehicles with them. A
queue of extravagant machines were parked around Harrods department store yesterday
(main picture) including a six-wheeled Mercedes G63 AMG (top left), a Pagani
Huayra and a Rolls Royce.
A red and silver Maserati Gran Turismo (bottom left),
a yellow Ferrari 458 (top right) and a cream Bugatti Veyron (bottom right) were
seen nearby. The vehicles have already attracted the attention of local parking
wardens, with the Bugatti handed a ticket yesterday after it was left on a
double yellow line (inset).
