Adesanmoye Kehinde, a senior official of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Ikotun Lagos branch, has been arrested and dragged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly setting his lover, Janet, 31, ablaze after she called off their relationship.

Kehinde, 43, who is married with three children, had been dating Delta state born Janet for a while and was planning marry her. Janet however decided to call the affair off because she felt Kehinde was too troublesome....Continue reading....

8 die, 32 injured on a tour bus in Hainan

At least 8 elementary school students have been killed, and 32 others injured, after a tour bus overturned in the city of Wenchang in south China’s Hainan province.

The bus overturned as it was passing a bend on the road. It was carrying 46 passengers, including 43 students, 2 teachers and the driver. Most of the injured are in stable condition. The bus is leased by the school from a car rental company. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.

Stephen Colbert to Replace David Letterman on The Late Show: Good Choice?

A five-year deal between CBS and Colbert was announced by Leslie Moonves, CBS President & CEO, and Nina Tassler, Chairman of CBS Entertainment.
Letterman announced his retirement April 3. The legendary comedian and critically acclaimed host of The Late Show has hosted the series for 21 years.
Colbert’s premiere date is unknown, but it will obviously occur after Letterman determines a timetable for his final farewell tour broadcasts in 2015.
CBS added that specific creative elements, as well as the producers and the location for the Colbert-hosted Late Show, are still to be determined and announced.
Not like there's a rush, given that this is a year away if not more. It's a small wonder the network announced this so quickly and didn't let the buzz build. Oh well.
