Uniben Management Prays For Poisoned VC

The entire management of UNIBEN gathered together today to pray for the VC, Professor Godwin Oshodin who was flown to London hospital in the United Kingdom as a result of a presumed food poison suffered months ago.
The entire management prays for his quick recovery.

Yesterday while celebrating the 2014 children’s Day at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, in Abuja, the first lady, Mrs Patience Jonathan advised children and Nigerians to stop abusing her husband because God made him the head of state.

Addressing the children further and quoting the scriptures, she said it is non-biblical to abuse ones parents and leaders of a nation.

Pakistan woman stoned to death by family for marrying man she loved

A 25-year-old woman was stoned to death by her family outside one of Pakistan's top courts on Tuesday in a so-called "honor" killing for marrying the man she loved, police said.
