President Jonathan Signs 2014 Budget

President Goodluck Jonathan this morning has signed the 2014 budget into law. According to the Ministry of Finance, the signing followed the completion of statutory legislative processes. A 52-year old man, Onyejiaju Augustine from Imo State has been arrested by NDLEA officials at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while trying to smuggle 2.605kg of cocaine carefully and neatly packed as candies. Onyejiaju who had been on the list of wanted smugglers, was eventually caught during the screening of passengers enroute Etihad. He described his arrest as unfortunate and said he was unlucky his trick was unravelled.
