8 die, 32 injured on a tour bus in Hainan
The bus overturned as it was passing a bend on the road. It was carrying 46 passengers, including 43 students, 2 teachers and the driver. Most of the injured are in stable condition. The bus is leased by the school from a car rental company. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.

Stephen Colbert to Replace David Letterman on The Late Show: Good Choice?

Letterman announced his retirement April 3. The legendary comedian and critically acclaimed host of The Late Show has hosted the series for 21 years.
Colbert’s premiere date is unknown, but it will obviously occur after Letterman determines a timetable for his final farewell tour broadcasts in 2015.
CBS added that specific creative elements, as well as the producers and the location for the Colbert-hosted Late Show, are still to be determined and announced.
Not like there's a rush, given that this is a year away if not more. It's a small wonder the network announced this so quickly and didn't let the buzz build. Oh well.

After Lagos State Governor advised
Nigerians to elect leaders who will do the job and not a leader who will spend
most of his time in a Mosque or Church, like President Jonathan is doing, one
of the presidential aides, Reno Omokri has replied him, insisting the president
was only doing what God has commanded him to do.
Gov. Fashola was also quoted to have
said, so many leaders instead of doing the needful, will tell you God will do
it; like God will fix our hospital, roads, power, insecurity and so on. Interestingly,
a writer known as Lanre Oguntoyinbo thinks Reno went out of context and chose
to reply him.
