(pictured) was caught in the early hours of this morning April 10th allegedly
trying to steal a 1 year old girl, Oreoluwa Adanri, from her parents home
at Ademola Coker Street, Alagbole, Ogun State, PM News reports.
Narrating what happened, Oreoluwa's mother, Mrs Adanri said Blessing gained entrance into their home around 4am by tearing their window net as they slept. She said she was woken up by the cry of her daughter in the hands of the suspect....

Nigerian Government raises alert on Ebola virus
The Ebola Virus Disease, which has
caused the death of scores of people in Central and West Africa may be heading
towards Nigeria, the Federal Government has said.
Over 100 people have died from the
disease in Guinea, while about 10 deaths have also been recorded in Liberia.
Mali, Ghana, and other West African countries have also reported cases of the
disease. The disease is believed to be spread through physical contact or
contact with fluid of infected persons......

Senate Passes N4.69trn 2014 Budget
The Senate today, Wednesday, 9th
of April, 2014 passed N4.69 trillion as budget for the 2014 fiscal year, nearly
four months after it was presented by Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on behalf of the
President. The executive had proposed N4.642 trillion, but the amount was
jerked up with an additional N53 billion, by the upper chamber.
27% of the budget sum, which is N1.1
trillion is for capital expenditure, while the remaining 73% goes to running
the government – N2.454 trillion for recurrent expenditure, N408.6 billion for
statutory transfers, and another N712 billion is for debt service.
