First, hear it all from the man who made it all possible. His name is Carl Dietrich, he is the chief executive and co-founder of Terrafugia, an aerospace company.
Mr Carl has been working to bring consumers to the prospect of a practical flying car, envisioning a vehicle that does not require its operator to be a trained pilot. The company, Terrafugia, announced the concept of TF-X, a four-seat, plug-in hybrid electric car that can do vertical take-offs and landings.
The good thing is that the flying car operator won’t need to have the skills of a pilot to fly it…

Aircraft with 57 passengers, including Ladoja & CONFAB delegates, makes air return

Former Oyo State Governor Rasheed Ladoja, some serving Senators, members of the National Conference who were returning to Abuja yesterday were among those onboard an Overland aircraft with registration Number 5NBPE that had to make a quick detour after the pilot noticed a crack on the windshield of the aircraft. The aircraft took off from Ibadan Airport in Oyo state and was heading to Abuja when the pilot noticed a cracked windshield as they entered into Minna, Niger state airspace....
